This Is Now Agency turns the ripe old age of two years old in April and to celebrate another successful year, both agency and roster will be pulling out the stops to present a showcase of what the agency stands for: unique entertainment. Heading back to the place where This Is Now’s own events all began, the jam-packed party on 10th April will feature LIVE shows and DJ sets from the agency’s growing family at one of London’s most iconic venues, the 100 Club on Oxford Street.
In what seems like the shortest year in history, This Is Now Agency has gone from strength to strength welcoming new acts to the roster, succeeding in booking an astounding 150 shows at over 60 festivals last year, two shows at London’s O2, groundbreaking videos, radio successful singles and brand new EP’s and albums from the roster, which includes Public Service Broadcasting’s brand new album which entered the UK Album Charts at #11 – all in addition to umpteen successful headline and support tours for all acts.
Friday 10th April will be a showcase of handpicked acts from the roster and will feature Son of Dave who will be showing off a selection of his one-man blues covers, Beans on Toast will be entertaining the masses with his crowd-pleasing, truthful folk, Too Many T’s take charge of the late night hip hop and party flavours, Gorgeous George show us why they’re one of the most raucous bands on the circuit, Frankie Forman heads down with her sultry sounds and new band in tow, Cardiff stars Houdini Dax showcase their sound that have been described as a cross between Arctic Monkeys and The Beatles whilst all of this will be perfectly strung together by the best hosts to have been dragged kicking and screaming from the Deep South West – Reverend Michael Alabama Jackson and Sister Mary Lou from The Church.
